Community Information

Chatham is a home to 12,000 people and is located just south of Springfield. The village lies along the original alignment of historic U.S. Route 66, America’s favorite highway. It is home of the Annual Chatham Sweet Corn Festival that includes the Miss Sweet Corn Pageant, Illinois Championship Cow Chip Throw, Cornhole Tournament, wine & whiskey tasting and several live bands. It is also known for Sugar Creek covered bridge and the Apple Barn Orchard.
